This site shares my joy of software development on IBM i. There is no need to collect data about its visitors, so this site
- sets no cookies for visitors; only the color scheme you pick is kept in your browser (local storage) and never sent to the server,
- uses no analytics or tracking software,
- embeds no social media buttons, videos, maps or fonts of third parties,
- has no contact form and no comments.

Server log files
[Hosting provider] stores the following data of each access in log files: the page visited, date and time, the amount of data sent, the referring page, the browser, the operating system and the IP address. The data is needed to operate the site securely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and is deleted after [period].
Downloads from GitHub
The downloads and the source code are hosted on GitHub. When you click a download link or a link to a repository, your browser connects to GitHub, Inc. (USA), which processes your IP address according to the GitHub Privacy Statement. This site itself reads the release information from GitHub on the server — no data of visitors is passed on.
