Debugging can be very time consuming, in particular in applications made of many small procedures. Log statements show the program flow and help to find the place where a bug sits. That is what Log4rpg is made for.
Log4rpg was inspired by the great Log4j logger for Java. Like Log4j it supports a logger hierarchy, pluggable appenders and pluggable layouts. Since version 1.13.2 it writes and reads UTF-8 files.
